Creative Destruction
We've been blessed with an abundance of magnolia blossoms this season. They are fragrant, fragile, and fleeting in their beauty. I was fortunate to find these after a rainstorm. The downpour was strong enough to knock the tepals off some flowers and dislodged the stamens on nearly all of them. Though the flowers are gorgeous when intact, the creative destruction from the storm adds another dimension of beauty.
